2012 is going to be a busy year for vibist Joe Locke with one, potentially two, new album(s) out on the Motéma label, US dates with his effortlessly original and energetic Joe Locke / Geoffrey Keezer Group this summer, incl. the expected promotional activity and press dates. Breaking all these events into digestible bites, we are starting early with updating Joe’s international media and subscriber database about the 2012 journey. The February/March newsletter announces Joe’s upcoming visit to Germany, Great Britain and Austria with Storms/Nocturnes (the transatlantic trio completed by Tim Garland on saxes and pianist Geoffrey Keezer) and a three date stint in Austria with Klemens Marktl’s Group.
