We’ve been working with Tommy Smith – the Scottish saxophonist/composer, orchestra director and educator – since 2005. And while the look and feel of his original website was still an ideal a promotional backdrop for his various musical projects, the desire to transfer edditional control over to the artist, allowing for more immediacy and social media connectivity made a website refresh inevitable. The back-end utilises WordPress as a basic CMS, while the core pages are still independent from a theme or template driven setup.
I have been working with Tommy on a multitude of projects and professional campaigns, incl. email design and broadcast for his solo work, the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, the Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra, on album design and websites.
