Another great special guest with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra in 2010 was the Norwegian bassist Arild Andersen to celebrate the music of classic Jazz label ECM. SNJO director Tommy Smith, Arild Andersen and drummer Paolo Vinaccia also have a trio which recorded the album “Live At Bellville” in 2009. In true ECM tradition, this was a simplistic, sans-serifa, beautifully plain design.
