About

Nadja von Massow

I am a creative strategist and artist consultant based in London, and have been working with a number of musicians and bands on both sides of the pond since 2005. My deep passion for Jazz and fascination with the people who create the music naturally evolved into a uniting accession of skills combining my background in Marketing, Digital Design and Production, with the artists’ unique ability to enrich people’s lives and reach audiences with their art and talent.

“I’m helping artists focus on the music.”

Often wearing multiple hats — from tour manager to digital enabler, label liaison, videographer and graphic designer — all levels of involvement make me feel privileged to be so close to the heart of where music is being created and presented. To empower the next generation of musicians, I am teaching website design & build at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.

In conversation with Callum Au

In June 2020, we finally released Callum Au‘s and Claire Martin‘s mind-blowing album collaboration ‘Songs And Stories’ (Stunt Records). In the run-up to the launch, in the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown, Callum conducted a bunch of interviews with some of the key players who were involved in the realisation of this masterpiece: Louis Dowdeswell, John Mills, Andy Wood, Matt Skelton, Laurence Ungless, Freddie Gavita and of course the phenomenal Claire Martin.

And it was great that he invited me, too, to talk about the visual and graphic contribution to ‘Songs And Stories’. So here’s our conversation (streamed on Facebook LIVE, 17 June 2020).
