Every once in a while I am presented with an existing design that immediately lends itself to be translated into a digital format. Tommy Smith‘s 2011 solo release “Karma” was one of those projects. The beautiful grunge-style design by John Haxby (who sadly died in December 2011) and the contrastful duo-tone photography made it easy to turn the print format into a stylish and effective promotional email to support the band’s 2011 tour dates.
